UGA Biomedical Engineering Society
UGA BMES is the University of Georgia student chapter for the internationally recognized professional society, the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES).
Our Mission is to cultivate the professional development and personal growth of our members through active learning experiences in the biomedical and biological engineering field.
We aim to deliver success to our members in their biomedical goals whether it be in undergraduate pursuits, graduate school, medical school, industry, research, etc.
We work to provide knowledge of the biomedical engineering field and bioengineering major, guest speakers, design projects, networking opportunities, social events, and community involvement while fostering a sense of community among our members.
